Expansion & Holding
A white stoneware, glass-infused organically flowing earthwoven Sacred Vessel. This client commissioned her vessel to hold space as she journeyed over the thresholds of spiritual expansion, preparation for motherhood and business growth. Each glass infusion represents the energy & colour of a significant gemstone, held by mushroom-inspired structures, flowing into a lagoon of coloured glass. The base reveals a white feather engraving. A symbol of faith, support & holding.
Ancestral Healing Sacred Birth Vessel
A large buff stoneware sacred vessel expressively glazed in whites and magma, revealing an interior engraving of the bear spirit and an exterior engraving ancestral holding. Grounded by fallen branches and roots from the Killarney National Park, Ireland and bound in earth coloured leather. This piece was commissioned by its guardian to call in the bear spirit ahead of the birth of her son, along with ancestors of generations passed from far wide between the two lineages to hold them safely in his arrival earthside.
Homebirth-Rite of Passage
A buff stoneware sacred vessel to hold space and ceremony and a beautiful baby girl's placenta in herbs and salts as she arrived into her mother's arms at home in the US. The rowan tree spirit was called in along with the goddess Anú - the Paps of Anú can be seen from my window here in Kerry. The 4 elements are engraved along its side and moss green leather bound a grounding fallen branch of rowan. This mama and baby girl were held by this vessel until it was time to plant their placenta in the earth beneath a new tree. May it bloom alongside their connection to one another.
Mother’s Blessing - Completion of Breastfeeding Journey
A black clay vessel layered in creams and whites in stoneware clay and underglaze. Bound with leather of earthy browns and greens to ground this deep feeling artwork. The interior of the vessel contains a handpainted white glaze circle to symbolise to circle of all cycles in our lives and the wholeness of family. This beautiful wise woman called her beloved women together to celebrate this rite of passage upon the completion of her breast-feeding journey with her darling daughters. The play of dark and light in the colours of the clay reflect the beauty and the challenges of nourishing and mothering your little ones, while doing the same for yourself.
Masculine Wound Healing
An ocean glazed buff stoneware vessel containing a ocean of glass-infused tears. Leather bound and grounded by a fallen oak branch in the form of a stag's antler, this piece holds the grief of the masculine wounding of 3 generations. Stag energy, carvings and rowan tree ogham engraving amplify the energy of this vessel. 
Red Earth Rebirth Vessel
A large red earthstoneware sacred vessel hand coiled over 9 hours and layered with clay and underglazes. This rustic, frozen in time, cracked red earth vessel eminates the energy of rebirth. Bound with cream leather it reveals the idea that nothing is reborn without being cracked wide open first. Feminine, tactile and with a song that rings out when chimed, she is a force of rebirth energy to be held and to guide fourth.
Dark Side of the Moon
A black textured stoneware vessel born of a dark night of the soul year. The vessel highlight's the energy and current of the full moon, bringing hope and guidance with it's ebbs and flows. The bulbous feminine form is cracked open and bound with cream leather, revealing the interior of the vessel, calling to be touched. Light flows through the vessel's opening, welcoming in the light to come.
